As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Florida League relies on donations, sponsors, and fundraisers to operate every year. For the past seven years, Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, Florida has been gracious enough to host our annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year, as thirty foursomes from all over the country descend on Central Florida to take part in this exciting event.

Before the day of golf, each golfer (and a guest) is invited to join the celebrities for a meet and greet pairings dinner. This exclusive party gives fans a rare chance to get up close and personal with some of their favorite players. A select few celebrities use the evening to promote the Florida League, helping the attendees understand the importance of summer collegiate baseball. It also marks the opening of the silent auction, which brought in more than $35,000 in 2014.

While playing a round of golf at this luxurious course is a treat in itself, each golf group is also joined by a baseball celebrity. We are proud to have the support of former World Series Champions, MVPs, CY Young Award winners, #1 overall draft picks and Rookie of the Year recipients.
